In May 2011, investors acquired lots 10 and 11 at Laughlin Industrial Park for a 15,000 sq ft build to suit office/warehouse facility for Volvo Construction Rents. The project is the second acquisition for investors at Landmark & Laughlin Industrial Parks, a collaboration with The Drummond Group, Inc., that seeks to acquire lots/land in strategic locations for industrial build to suit projects.


The Property is strategically located near I-65/I-10 which is a major corridor in Mobile, AL. The site also has direct access to Halls Mill Rd and Government Blvd. 

Ownership constructed the facility and it was completed in March of 2012. The parent company, Volvo Group, Inc., injected $500 million into the construction rental equipment subsidiary.  Part of the capital investment was used to buy back franchises and then subsequently outfit new facilities around the country with equipment.   The office/warehouse facility at Laughlin Industrial Park sits on 4 acres with frontage on I-10.
